Summary

In order to do this I first started off with a block 10ft x 4ft x 5ft. Afterwards I connected 2 points to make a slope. I did the same to the right side. I rotated the figure around and connected 2 point create a shorter slope. I did the same thing to the other side. Then I connected all the points, the ones in the front with the ones in the back and erased unnecessary pieces. Finally, I colored each face a different color, and on the slopes, I colored it the mixture of the colors of the faces it was in between.

Assignment 22 Summary
In order to do all blocks in assignment 22, you must make a block using the highest length of the figure, the widest length, and the longest length. Afterwards, you take out sections of the block until you get the desired shape/figure.

20: Cell Phone Test

This test was very fun. I learned a lot from it. I learned how to use Adobe Illustrator and the many tools involved in using it. I hope to use this experience further in my lifetime to better myself and my career. The difference between Photoshop and Illustrator is that Illustrator is used more for creating things such as photos whereas Photoshop is used to edit things such as photos.

19 : USB Drive

I really enjoyed doing this project. I learned a lot in how to use Adobe Illustrator. I liked this project because I learned how to make objects look 3-Dimensional and give the effect that light is shining on it, when in reality it's not.

18 : Soft Skin Glow

First what I did was open a picture of someones face. Next I added the blur filter to the image. I then added the screen filter to the new image. Finally I used the brush tool and then used the air brush tool to remove the unnecessary effects such as the mouth and face to get the image above.

17 : Quick Mask

First what I did was find a picture with a person's face. Then you switch to Quick Mask mode and use the brush tool to select the region of the face you want to choose, in my case I colored the teeth. After this I invert it and choose the gradient tool which gave me the above image.

16 : Smart Filter

First what I did was open an image of a train as a smart object. I then added the motion blur filter. I made sure that the foreground was black so when I use the brush, I am able to erase the parts of the image that I don't want blurry. After I got the result that I wanted, I finished and saved it.

15b : Displacement Tool (Face)

To do this assignment I first got a picture of my face and a picture of a brick wall. I opened a new file in photoshop and added both pictures to the file. I made a copy of the brick wall and desaturated it. I then added the hard light effect to both the picture of my face and the copy of the brick wall which gave me my final image above.

I made a copy of the brick wall and desaturated it. I then added the hard light effect to both the flag and the copy of the brick wall which gave me my final image above.

14 : Halloween Jack-O-Lantern

First I took a picture of a pumpkin that I liked and placed it on a black background. Next I used the pen tool to draw in the facial features. After I got the shapes that I liked, I added effects to the eyes, nose and mouth so that it looks like it's glowing. Finally I typed "Think Halloween" on the bottom of the picture and used the paint brush to add light under the pumpkin.

13 : Mimicking the Change One Thing poster

To do this assignment, I first opened a new page in Photoshop. Next, I applied a solid background with a color that I liked. After, I got a picture of an ice cream cone and one of cauliflower. I then deleted the ice cream, leaving just the cone using the magnetic tool. Then I placed the picture of the cauliflower as the ice cream and added a glowing effect to the final product. Finally I researched the benefits of cauliflower and added it to my poster.

12 : texture made with layer mode

I enjoyed doing this project a lot. It was a very simplistic project. All you need is a picture of a tuxedo (if a male is doing it) or a dress (if a female is doing it) and a certain patter, texture, or design that you really like. You then use the magnetic lasso tool to select only a certain region of the tux or dress that you want the texture on. Next you add a new layer and put the selected region onto that layer. You then open the texture and put it so that it only appears on the selected region and change the opacity to the desired amount that you want and you're done.

11: Flyer with Photoshop skills

I really enjoyed doing this project. I was able to use very unique and eye-catching designs for text that made my poster for my club really pop out. In my poster I used the plastic effect, the glass effect, and the photo-filled text. I also used the gradient tool and photos that represent what Red Cross is.
